DEN BOSCH – Exhibition organiser Easyfairs announces that the two national trade fairs Dutch Poultry Expo and Dutch Pork Expo will take place simultaneously in 2023 in Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. “We could not have foreseen the current circumstances, like the speed of the recession and government measures and objectives, in 2018. In order to remain the only high-quality platform for the intensive industries, we entered into talks with exhibitors, visitors and the Advisory Council. During these discussions, we looked at the trends currently being observed and how we can guarantee that the exhibition concepts continue to represent the demands from the various sectors. As a result, the decision was made to have Dutch Pork Expo and Dutch Poultry Expo take place simultaneously in 2023 on 14 and 15 February in Brabanthallen in Den Bosch,” explains Lucas van’t Hof (Head of Agriculture) of Easyfairs.
Both trade events will maintain their own identity and concept. Visitors now have the opportunity to visit both fairs. The exhibition floor plan includes several industry-specific areas and cross-sector areas, making it possible for the exhibitors working in both sectors to participate in both exhibitions with one stand.
Van ’t Hof: “When considering knowledge transfer, we’ve set up a subject-specific knowledge programme for each fair as well as an overarching knowledge programme on future-oriented topics and current cross-sector related issues. We will do this again in the form of the Smart Animal Farming platform, which we launched last year during our agricultural trade fairs for livestock farming. So, visitors can go to both fairs. All sub-sectors will be even better represented, so that visitors benefit from a wider variety, more interchange and we aim to serve the entire sector in just two days.”
For Dutch Poultry Expo this means a move from Evenementenhal Hardenberg to Brabanthallen in Den Bosch and a new date: 14 and 15 February 2023. “Also important to consider: we’re visiting the Brabanthallen with our own, familiar concept,” says Van’t Hof.
